diskALERT respects your privacy completely. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and the control you have over your information.

1. Data We Collect

We only collect data necessary to deliver the service:

• Name, email address and optional profile picture.
• Vehicle details – licence plate number, nickname, expiry date and type.
• Trailer or additional unit information that you manually enter.
• Company information such as company names, permits and any driver details (name, contact information and licence expiry date).

2. Data Usage

The data collected is used solely to remind you of upcoming licence or permit renewals. We do not share your personal data with third parties and we never use your information for the developers' personal gain.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption and other best‑practice security measures. diskALERT reserves the right to change storage providers as needed, but we commit to maintaining or improving security standards and will ensure your data is protected throughout any transition.

4. User Control

You can edit or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you choose to delete your account your data will be removed permanently and diskALERT will not be liable for any resulting data loss.

5. Children’s Privacy

diskALERT is designed for individuals aged 18 and older (the minimum driving age in most countries) and is not intended for children.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use diskALERT constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. You are free to discontinue use at any time.
